As we provide managed Database auditing services we take care of the audit storage requirements for you. We use the best Oracle security products to protect your data both during transfer and when it is secured in our protected data warehouse.

As mentioned previously we use OAV as the platform for our database auditing services.  For general information purposes we have provided some information on storage requirements below. 

The storage requirements for OAV can be calculated fairly easily as audit records have a fixed length. Collectors write the audit records in to RADS flat tables and when refreshed the records are moved in to the data warehouse – Oracle state that 1 million audit records use between 600 and 900 MB of disk space, approximately 750 bytes per audit record.
